I wrote this interlude a few years ago as a way to cope with my heart feeling helpless and heavy over what I kept seeing in news, ending the short verse with this kind of cathartic affirmation "it's alright, it's our turn/ it's alright, it's my turn..."

The time we are living in right now I feel is our continued opportunity to step up, stand and live for what is just, for what is good and kind... Our turn to make things right.
